Os damos la bienvenida al I Congreso Personas Trans y/o No binarias e Inclusión Social: Experiencias, Necesidades y Programas de Intervención que se celebrará en la Facultad de Educación de la UNED el 8 de octubre de 2026, en modalidad online, presencial y en diferido.
Vivimos tiempos complejos y polarizados. En España, contamos con las leyes nacionales más inclusivas y abiertas al reconocimiento de la diversidad de género de nuestra historia, pero también asistimos a un incremento alarmante de la transfobia y violencia hacia las personas trans y /o no binarias en nuestras sociedades. Esta situación no es exclusiva de nuestro contexto, sino que se reproduce en otros países con dinámicas similares.
En este escenario, es necesario generar espacios más inclusivos, donde todas las personas podamos vivir dignamente y con las mismas oportunidades, sin que nuestra identidad o expresión de género sea motivo de discriminación o desigualdad. Defendemos que lograr esto es una cuestión de justicia social que implica a toda la ciudadanía y a las instituciones.
Este congreso busca fomentar el diálogo, la reflexión crítica y la creación de alianzas para la implementación efectiva de intervenciones orientadas a transformar nuestras sociedades y hacerlas más respetuosas, justas y diversas.
We welcome you to the 1st Conference on Trans and/or Non-Binary People and Social Inclusion: Experiences, Needs, and Intervention Programmes, which will be held at the Faculty of Education of UNED on 8 October 2026, in online, on-site, and on-demand formats.
We live in complex and polarised times. In Spain, we have the most inclusive national laws in our history regarding the recognition of gender diversity; however, we are also witnessing a worrying increase in transphobia and violence towards trans and/or non-binary people in our societies. This situation is not unique to our context, as similar dynamics are being observed in other countries.
In this scenario, it is necessary to create more inclusive spaces where all people can live with dignity and equal opportunities, without their gender identity or expression being a source of discrimination or inequality. We argue that achieving this is a matter of social justice that involves both citizens and institutions. This conference seeks to foster dialogue, critical reflection, and the building of alliances for the effective implementation of interventions aimed at transforming our societies and making them more respectful, just, and diverse.
