Language Research and Education in Fluid Times: The Rise of Adaptive Competencies (TISLID 26)

This conference, now in its fifth edition, is organized by the consolidated research group ATLAS from UNED. It brings together researchers, educators, technologists, and institutional representatives from various countries to reflect on the impact of emerging technologies —including generative AI— on language education, specialized translation, publishing, and accessibility.

The conference is officially endorsed by the UNESCO Chair in Distance Education (CUED) and has been recognized as a training activity by UNED’s International Doctoral School.

It will take place at the UNED Associated Centre in Úbeda (Jaén), on April 22, 23, and 24, in a hybrid format, with an emphasis on enco uraging in-person attendance.

 

TISLID'26 invites researchers, educators, and professionals in language education, translation, and educational technology to submit proposals for papers, posters, workshops, and symposia addressing, among others, the following topics:

  • Generative Artificial Intelligence and adaptive competencies
  • Technology-enhanced language learning and teaching
  • Accessibility and inclusive design in language education
  • Specialized translation and language technologies
  • Automated assessment and feedback
  • Teacher training and critical digital literacy

Submission Deadlines:

  • Deadline for Abstract proposals: 15th December 2025.
